EXPORT CONTROLLED — Products on this site may be subject to ITAR, EAR, and EU dual-use regulations. Unauthorised export, re-export, or transfer is a criminal offence. All international orders are subject to compliance review.
Overview
MothSight operates in full compliance with applicable export control laws and regulations, including the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and EU dual-use export control regulations (EU Regulation 2021/821). Many of our products — including night vision devices, thermal imaging systems, and related components — are subject to export licensing requirements.
Export Licensing
Certain products may not be exported, re-exported, or transferred without prior authorisation from the relevant government authority. By placing an order, you confirm that you are not located in, or acting on behalf of any person or entity in, a country subject to EU, U.S., or UN sanctions or embargoes. MothSight reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that may violate applicable export control laws.
End-User Verification
For international orders involving controlled items, we are required to conduct end-user verification before shipment. This may include requesting a completed End-User Certificate (EUC) or End-User Statement (EUS). Orders will be held pending receipt and review of required documentation. Failure to provide documentation will result in order cancellation and full refund.
Prohibited Destinations
We do not ship controlled products to countries subject to comprehensive sanctions, including but not limited to: Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, and Sudan. This list is subject to change in accordance with applicable law. Orders to these destinations will be automatically cancelled.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable import and export laws in their country of residence. This includes obtaining any required import licences, paying applicable duties and taxes, and ensuring the product is used only for lawful purposes. MothSight accepts no liability for customer violations of applicable law.
Re-Export Restrictions
Products purchased from MothSight may not be re-exported, transferred, or resold to third parties without prior written authorisation from MothSight and, where required, the relevant export licensing authority. Unauthorised re-export may constitute a criminal offence under applicable law.
